website with Marine Corps wedding decorations?? Does anyone know where I can find a website with decorations and favors for a Marine Corps wedding? I'm not having the wedding till December, but I'm trying to get as much stuff done now as possible. Anything will help. I've already found military garters, but I am having a full formal military wedding, with the arch of swards and what not and I would just rather have some other marine decorations incorporated into it. Thanks in advance! :)

But what i need to know is are you able to bring own decorations such as chairs, arches, tikis and fake flowers? I talked to this one lady and she said you can bring your own chairs and some of your own decor. But what i want to know is if i just hire an officiant and bring my own stuff do i need a permit? It says on some webpages if you are having you wedding in a state park you do. I just don't want to be setting all this stuff up and then a cop saying wwe can't have it.
What kind of wedding decorations to do?? Not a traditional wedding see details.? We are having our wedding in an old church that was turned into a night club. Our wedding is during the daytime, and there will not be anyone allowed into the venue except the guests for the wedding, so please don't make any rude comments. I know for our alter instead of doing an arch, we are going to have larger candle holders on both sides of the "alter". But I'm unsure of how to decorate the rest of the club, I need simple decor, nothing too much or too hard to set up. This is just the location for our ceremony, we already have decor picked out for the reception. We don't want balloons. or flowers really. or anything that would look cheap. Umm I like the idea of fairy lights we were actually thinking of using those in the reception but i would love to bring them into the ceremony. by the way we can't do initial monograms as our names make a.s.s.
Help! Wedding Ideas needed!? My sister is getting married and we only have 4 months to get it together. She wants to get married on the beach in St. Augustine, Fl. Anyone know of any good locations for the ceremony? We also need somewhere to have the reception, and a good place to rent wedding decorations, such as an arch, pillars, etc. We have a pretty small budget so are going to be doing most of it ourselves. Help please. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I need wedding decoration ideas? I am getting married on October 11th. I need some more decoration ideas for an outdoor wedding. My colors are red, black, and ivory. I am already decorating an arch. We are getting married by a pool and having a reception under a carport. I would like to hang something on top of the carport or something. I thought about lights but it is going to be at 2 pm so I didn't think anyone could see them. Anyway I would really like some unique ideas!! I am using dark red and ivory roses for my bouquet!!
Beach Wedding! Help!? I am planning to get married on the beach off the Emerald Coast. It will be a small wedding, and I am looking for an affordable wedding package but still want the arch and decorations, and a good photos package. Any recommendations? The package I have found was about $990. Please include websites.
Does anyone Know Where I can Get Non- Edible Cake decorations for Halloween? Hi, I am creating a haunted wedding scene in my front yard this year, and of course what's a wedding without a cake right? So I purchased a fake foam 5 tiered cake and plan to paint and and decorate it like a real cake, and I need decorations that are not edible. I would like some dragonflies or bats that stick out from the cake not sit on it, if you know what I mean, as well as spiders, and a plastic knife to stick in the cake, I also need a relatively cheap but spooky cake topper or any ideas for a cake topper. Does anyone have any Idea where to purchase these items on-line, or in the Pittsburgh area? any help would be great. Also if anyone has ideas on how to make the reception party that would be great, I have the Bride Ghoul, Groom Ghoul, preacher (Grim Reaper) I even have Gore May Crackers, and a Finger Food Bowl with fake fingers in it for the food tables..really gross but really cool..I found these at www.frightcatalog.com. I also have a really great wedding arch that I plan to decorate really spooky with black organza, a crow, a dead black flowers, and possibly a buzzard..I haven't decided yet. Can anyone Help with these things thanks so much.. I can't wait until Halloween..It's my favorite
What are some centerpiece ideas for tables? And also other ideas for the decorations overall...? My fiance and I are having a private wedding ceremony and having our reception/party about one month later. Our colors for the reception pink, red, and white and we have came up with the idea to use Cyclinder vases and put fake red, white, and pink roses in it and decorate the table with silk rose petals ... Is that too plain? do i need more? i just want something outstanding. We are using table covers and plan on getting a Balloon Arch and a Collage and decorate it with lights... i need more ideas... im confused.. HELP ME PLS
What do we need to consider when planning an outdoor wedding? I want to make sure I have it all covered.? We are getting married at a park in Indiana. My big concern was where/how do we get sound there? Also what to do with parking? We are renting a limo, and thought that might be able to pick people up from place X and take to the park, but then taht was supposed to be for the wedding party. We have a restricted budget as we are paying for it ourselves. Also, what kind of permits do we need for that. The parks department told us we didn't need any, but everywhere I read says that you do. Also what type of decorations/ equipment rental do we need? Chairs are obvious, sound machine as well. We are going to use a arch way and use a unity bouquet instead of candle. Let me know what you think!

DIY ideas. please help. What kind of decorations to do? We are having our wedding ceremony at an old church that was turned into a night club. just the ceremony. We need ideas of what to decorate it with. We already know that we do not want an arch, so we are having two large candle stands on each side to frame the "alter". We don't want balloons or anything that would look cheap. Our theme is Once upon a time till death do us part. Our colors are dark red and purple, with lavender and regular red accents.
Wedding decoration ideas??? What are some nice ideas to decorate a reception hall? We have our table centerpieces already, a tonne of tulle, a lighted arch and I am trying to think of ways to use it all in addition to something at or behind the head table BESIDES balloons (my cousins all did the ballon arches, etc.) and those stupid honeycomb bells. I also don't want the two hearts with plastic puffy things and the couples names in the middle. Our hall is nice (a church basement but has been painted a nice stark white - no wood paneling - with a disco ball in the middle) with pillars that can be wrapped in tulle and lights. Any great ideas for the head table? Our colors are harvest gold and espresso and my dress and accessories are ivory. Thank you all for your suggestions!! We will have potted plants (in pots painted and decorated in our colors) at the end of each table and the centre pieces are "gumball" machines. It's a terra cotta pot turned upside down with a rose bowl (with a falt edge on top) glued on top and then the little saucer you would set a pot on is the lid! The pots and lids will all be done in the wedding colors too and filled with gold and brown wrapped candy. I should mention too the hall doesn't allow candles! What are fairy lights??
I need decoration ideas for an outside wedding!? I am having a small outside wedding this summer and I cant figure out how to decorate it? I have bought paper lanterns to hang, and I was thinking of maybe white christmas lights? Not really sure, and my colors are white, pink, and black. Also what would be a good idea to have behind us as we say our vows? An arch? I cant think of anything else!

Medieval wedding theme ideas? My friend is getting married and doing a medieval / fairytale theme. Any ideas out there? She's got a belle-sleeve dress, victorian pew cone decorations and an arch for the front. Give us some GOOD ideas! Colors are lavender and sage
Is it okay for me to decorate my own wedding reception hall? I'm one of those, "If you want it done right you have to do it yourself". I want to know is it okay for me to go to the reception hall and decorate some and make sure everything is being done right. My decorations I want are not that easy to explain. There's balloons, drapery, an arch, lights, petals, fishes. I do have a wedding decorator that I'm paying, but i'm not sure it will be done they way I want. What I want she has not done before, at my meeting with her she said I gave her ideas for the future. And also some of the decorations I will be buying like the fishes, water beads, led lights, the fabric to drape, chair covers/sashes. I will show her pictures but I don't want to walk in and things aren't done right. I think she will show me a sample of the centerpiece and table decorations but I doubt it. Regardless of that I would like to go to some decorating. They allow us to start at 8am and my wedding is not till 5pm. I know it's my day to relax, but I just know I'll be worried things aren't' going to look like I visual it to look. FYI- I am decorating the church the night before, not much just a few draping and small decorations. Thanks for all the answers. The only thing is maybe I wasn't really clear. I'm not going to do ALL the decorating. I have my decorater for that, I'm just going to help her set one table up the way I want it done so she will know to do the rest like that (only 8 tables-about 80 people) and maybe to the draping of the head table, the balloons and lights, but everything else I would leave up to her. Only the things I want a specific way I will do or show her how I want them done. But I know me- I would be less stressed and worried if I don't go and show her or see if it's done right than if I don't go at all. I won't be there all morning or anything just checking up on everything.
my wedding will be on a poolside? it has this arch and mosaic decorated walls around with fish drawings.i like it so much and would like to do my wedding ceremony and reception.but i dont want it to be expensive so i decided to make the decorations myself but i need help in what to do and if there any site that would help me do them.
Wedding Ideas...Opinions PLEASE?!? My fiance is letting me pretty much plan everything other than the complete guest list, and where it ends up being. lol. Other than that he wants me to have my dream wedding and will help on anything I ask. But I want some other opinions on stuff. By the way I'm in the early stages of planning. <Colors> Light blue & Silver --Do you think these are good colors for either June/July/or Aug wedding? (We haven't picked a date yet. haha) <My Dress> http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/s... --I fell in love with this dress, but I don't know how to do my hair with it? I was thinking up high and very curly with maybe a tiara, and a elbow length veil? Other opinions?? <Bridesmaids Dresses> http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/s... (This dress in the Cornflower Blue) Opinions? <Grooms Tux> -I think I want him to wear a classic black tux with silver. What do you think? <Grooms men> -I think I want them to wear a black tux, that is just a little bit different from the Groom's with blue. So that my groom is different. What do you think? <Bouquets> --I want mine to be all white, and then maybe blue and white for my bridesmaids? <Boutonnieres> --I want small blue flowers, but cant think of any that would work? I do not want white roses tipped with blue. <Decorations> (For this I have tons of ideas, what combination's do you think would look good) --Blue & sparkling white balloons --Blue & White streamers --I want an arch, but can't decide on flowers or balloons? --Candles, but not sure where to put them? -----Any other suggestions are welcomed <Tables> (Again, I have a few ideas, but can't decide) --Blue table clothes, with silver trim around it, white chair covers with a silver bow --White table clothes, with blue decorations, silver chair covers, with blue bows --Silver table clothes, white chair covers, with blue bows ----Again, any other suggestions are welcomed. <Food> --We know we're getting a good sized cake --We want to do a candy type table, because we have a lot of younger family --For Dinner: ---We think we want to do a buffet, what do you think about this? (And what should we have if this is a good option?) <Others> -We know we are hiring a videographer for the ceremony, but might have my fiances dad tape the first dance and speeches(he is okay with this) But is this a good idea? -We know someone in college for photography who will take our pictures and is really good, so that's what we are doing. Any other suggestions would be great! Thank you in advance, and sorry this is so long! For Centerpieces: I was thinking of a vase, with blue crystals or something at the bottom, filled with water, and heart shaped floating candles (3) --I would have personalized matchbooks on the tables in case they went out? Is this a good idea?
What are some good ideas for a wedding and reception on a budget? I am getting married in June of next year and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for colors, (I know I want an Aqua blue but what goes with that), inexpensive tricks and tips for having an elegant wedding on a budget. Here is what we know we have : a cute little chapel that is already decorated beautifully and needs nothing more than maybe some pew decorations, the reception is at the bed and breakfast a block away and will be outside in the garden area. They provide the minister, tables, chairs, linens an arch and a gazebo and we are having my finances parents cater since they own a restaurant in town and thats about it. I need some ideas I have no idea what goes into planning a wedding.
I need Reception help- Food and Decorations. We're doing a spaghetti dinner. We count on about 50-75 guests. It's going to be a spaghetti buffet. We'll have marinara and meat sauce. I also think we're going to do an linguine pasta with alfredo and broccoli. We'll have salad and garlic bread. we're having a wedding cake for dessert. We'll also probably have a fruit tray and a chocolate fountain. Does this sound like a pretty well spanned out menu? It's going to be in a community building. We're going to show a video of the ceremony to guests. Decoration wise, I do know we'll have streamers and balloons, and I'm planning on doing a balloon arch behind our sweetheart table, unless I can figure out a good canopy idea. We have centerpieces already, and I probably won't be able to attach anything to the walls. I still need ways to transform the room from plain and boring into magical and amazing, with VERY limited funds (like, $50 tops). I also need buffet table ideas, AND if anyone has any experience with a spaghetti dinner for a large group of people, your input would be VERY appreciated.
These are the items I have chosen so far do you like them? This is my dress :http://www.jasminebridal.com/html/en/web1_couture_2_a.asp?id=1871 they don't have the exact one on the internet but this one is similar only more crystals and not a sweetheart top. This is my bouquet: chose:http://www.brides.com/weddingstyle/decorations/gallery/editorspick/detail/177245?f=168%3a180&offset=57#_chip=0 my colors:http://www.brides.com/weddingstyle/decorations/gallery/editorspick/detail/172418?f=168%3a181&offset=6#_chip=1 My cake:http://www.brides.com/weddingstyle/cakes/gallery/editorspick/detail/174471?f=1541%3a1546&offset=5#_chip=0 What do you guys think? Also I'm getting married outside and there will be a wedding arch. Would it look weird to have all yellow flowers? Should I add white ones too? Or should I add pink as one of my colors? So I would do yellow and pink arch and my cake would be pink? My center pieces I'm thinking of having edible arrangements so I could do pink and yellow or white and yellow. So confused I like so many things don't know if they go or not!
Hey brides! What do you look for in a wedding venue? My FH and I are looking to start up a wedding venue, De Mariée Gardens (French for bridal). We have about 2 acres of private gardens that include a rose arbor, a gazebo, and a balcony that overlooks a river with a bridge spanning the river. It's very old-fashioned, with lanterns, benches, arches, and even a swing or two scattered throughout. We're trying to make the venue as appealing to brides as possible by building dressing rooms, making our walkways more accessible to larger parties, purchasing an enclosed tent in case of inclement weather, providing up to 200 chairs, extra tables, some decorations, and more. What we need now is feedback. All you past, present, and future brides out there, I know this is bare information, but what do you think? Any suggestions or thoughts would be very appreciated, along with how much you would consider paying for something like this. We don't know what the going rate is, and we want to be affordable because we had a devil of a time affording our own wedding. We are considering charging $1,000 for ceremonies on Fridays and Saturdays, $750 for all other days. This would include chairs, tables, and decorations. We're a bit tentative on receptions right now, not sure if we'll get the funding for the building, but we will offer discounts when they book the reception with a local vendor. Is this fair? To start off we're probably only going to offer a ceremony site. But there are 5 receptions venues within 5 minutes. Would you still consider this venue? Or should we just wait to open 'til we can offer both?

I gave her all my stuff & not even a thank you.? I had so many decorations when I was finished with my wedding. An arch, glass vases for the center pieces, lights, a runner, an extra guest book, frames for your table numbers, candles. You name it, I had it. I gave it to a girl I used to be friends with. I knew she was on a very tight budget, and her colors were the same as mine, so I told her to come over and take anything she wanted just as long as she'd pass it on to someone else who needed it when she was finished. She said she was pressed for a photographer. My mother does photography and has a great camera, so she offered to help. The wedding date drew closer and closer. Do you think we ever got a phone call or an invitation or even a thank you call/card for all that we gave to her? Do you think she bothered to call me or my mother to tell her not to worry about doing the photography? Nope. Just goes to show you that manners in today's world are few and far between It really bugged me that she wanted my mom to do the photography so bad, but then never called her or anything. She stressed to my mother to keep that Saturay open, and she did. I knew what a tight budget she was on, and I had no use to keep everything, but I found it very odd as she was loading everything up she didn't even say thanks. It was weird. I honestly don't care that I wasn't invited, but it would have been nice for her to contact my mom about the photography. At least let her know that she didn't need her after all.
Sage green, pink and Brown wedding colour theme. Any Ideas? I need help please!!!! I am getting married and having the reception and party outdoors. I'm using chocolate brown chair sashes and i'm wandering how I can include sage green and pink in the decorations. I was thinking pink flowers and sage green and brown balloon arches. will it look nice? anyone done this Colour theme before? Even thinking of including a bit of gold or campaign somewhere. Will that be too many colours? Or which of would blend well with the brown chair sashes and table runners? Many thanks
Do i need extra decoration or flowers if I'm having my wedding in a garden? We are going to have our ceremony at a friends garden, she has won many best garden awards in this city and she has trees and beautiful flowers..she even asked me if i want certain colors or types of flowers so she can get started planting now. So my question is should I rent chairs, get more flowers, an arch or something else..or should I leave things the way they are and have guest just stand around us..I'm only having 20-25 ppl max. we are going to nice restaurant for dinner after that...trying to keep it simple and intimate. what do you think? of course i will be paying for my guests meal..I have already contacted a restaurant and we'll have a set menu with a few choices of food.. thanks
Need ideas on decorating a church gym for my wedding...on an extremely tight budget? My head is about ready to explode. I am to be married on the tenth of January in our Church's gym. We chose it because it is completely free, plus we will have the use of the kitchen, table cloths and nursery. The only problem is, we are on extremely tight budget. So far I have the centerpieces taken care of and we have bought tons of clear xmas lights to use for decoration. Our colors are pretty easy...several different shades of blue and then white and silver. Sort of going by a wintery theme. I have an aisle runner...other than that...NOTHING! I have to create some kind of arch that we can stand under as well. PLEASE HELP! I am lost! I just want it to be really nice.
so i heard all the rumors is it true the last month of planning THE WORSE? We are now 25 days to go and counting. And everything seems to be falling apart. My mother says it’s just a mind over matter and that I am stressing to hard on the little things. I heard all the horror stories about couples breaking up this close to the wedding. I am already so on edge with the decorations I finally finished the flower arrangements and 2 out of 4 broke! They were every expensive glass vases to set on each side of the arch. It seems like My fiancé and I are fighting none stop! To top it all off the park where the wedding is support to be held is under construction. Instead of everything falling together its seems to be falling apart. We have been planning for over a year and a half. (Been together 3 years engaged and living together for 2 years.) Has anyone else had similar mishaps? Dose it turn out ok.? Advice, stories, please!
help me on ideas on how to decorate? I am getting married at a place that has a kind of narrow but long freshly painted white deck, you can see the bay from it right below. Before I found the place [I am in love with it] I had ideas of how I wanted it decorated for the ceremony, which was mainly haveing an arch with white shear and flowers draped over above, but with getting married on a deck I can't have the arch. How should I go about decoration for the ceremony? I was thinking potted flowers, from short to tall pots in the front where we will say our vowes, but I have no idea. please help, pictures would be great! I tried looking for pics of wedding ceremonies on a deck besides a boat deck, but I can't find one =[ the wedding [ceremony] is in the end of June and starts at 1:30 pm the reception is at the same location but inside, I have that all planned out already, but thanks for the ideas anyway =D
