Weddings Reception Decorations

where is a great place to have wedding receptions in Chicago?

to narrow down the location, we are thinking areas surrounding naperville,IL or down town chicago. We are planning to get married in July 2009. Plus,we dont have a budget yet but we prefer somewhere reasonable and nice. thanks

3. If you are planning on getting married in July, I would get moving quickly, most places downtown are probably already booked, not to mention at least double the price of anywhere else. I got married at Fountain Blue in Des Plaines and it was awesome! Try Avalon banquets, Chandlers to name a few. I would try theknot.com, it was a great resource for me. Also, you could try searching online for reception halls in Chicago and lots come up.
4. A New Leaf....it is a beautiful space downtown that is actually a florist, but they have a GORGEOUS building to host events. So that would take care of a space AND a florist! My cousin had his wedding there and it is just incredible. Otherwise, there's a really nice restaurant right near naperville called Meson Sabika...it's a tapas style restaurant that looks like a house, so you could have seating in the various rooms...Or have you considered an art gallery space somewhere in downtown naperville? There are some great space there too.
