Weddings Reception Decorations

are there people who rent out their nice yards for weddings/receptions?

i don't want a typical company-owned venue that costs $10,000 not including the decorations, flowers, and all that. is there a website or any source that could lead me to people who just have a nice big yard or a bit of land they can rent out for a few hours? new england areas, please. (:

1. Try the local parks first- MUCH cheaper!!! =)
2. You can try churches and civic organizations (American Legion, Lion's Club, etc.) They usually rent their halls, and should be reasonable.
3. Hey that sounds like a good new business idea. A website where people can rent out their backyards for weddings. How creative; I'll have to think on that. Take care
