having a class reuion and doing it in tropical need idea for table decorations have hula doll and Laius?

2. Think sand, margurita's, umbrella's, flip flops, crystal clear beaches, bon fires, pineapples. Does this Help.
3. Make fruit kebobs and stick them into whole, fresh pineapples .....Put big artificial leaves under the food platters and strew lots of little artifical orchids around the table and on the platters ..... Little wooden bowls with chunks of FRESH coconut, macadamia nuts and sugar cane.......Candles scented like coconut or pineapple (soy candles smell the strongest) ... Home Depot has solar tiki torches, if you have something to stick them into:)
4. Hollowed out pineapples and/or coconuts filled with flowers would be a nice centerpiece on the tables.
5. Palm Trees. You can set a pipeapple in the center of each table and decorate around it. Buckets of sand w/ a shovel Buckets of sea shells
6. How about Martini glasses filled 3/4 with sand and shells? You could get round bowls and float candles (like flower shaped...etc or even tea lights) in it. You could get coconuts (Or hollowed out pineapple shells?) and put fake tropical flowers in them. Or maybe find someone who can make flowers out of fruit.
7. Next time pick a theme that isn't outdated and over done.
8. Sand and some shells, with votive candles. Don't stress about the table decorations too much. Keep them simple and inexpensive. Good luck!
